This was during the early days of the camp. The director and the teens and young adults were close to the same ages. We didn’t always know what we were doing, but we kept on trying. And even if we could travel back in time and parcel out some good advice, I daresay it would not change anything, human nature being what it is. But how we miss them. Um grande abraço para os nossos queridos irmãos. Que saudades de vocês.
Brazilians, Americans, Portuguese all worked together…mostly well. Do you think you can tell which of them are Americans and which are not?
Let me take a wild guess, and say the ‘hairy’ tall guy with the beard is an American. 😀
Great picture!!!!

I see Harry! I think I could probably tell…mostly, that is.

That’s a good question. Minus Harry I think the one in the blue jacket kneeling down looks Brazilian. The other one in blue to the left might be American. Something about those glasses screams 1970s disco.

Yes, the blonde fellow is American.

OK. Light blue sweater at the top, darker blue sweater with the train on it at the left, white sweater at the right, and the one in grey sitting just to the right of Harry…and possibly the one in the checked sweater at the front.
Is there a prize? 😉

Far right and far left, plus the seated one in the back are my guesses for Americans. I’m vacilating on a couple of others but I’m overthinking it and it’s past my bedtime already.

I wouldn’t even venture an opinion. There’s no way to truly know from a photograph! However, I love this picture — and the remembrance of everyone’s work! 🙂

Thank you, J. Harry was the tall one at the top of the stairs.

Hmm…my guess was the mustaches were not Americans, the plain faces and beard was? Great photo! 😀

Actually, Harry was the man at the top of the stairway with the beard and moustache.

Hey! I just discovered I can make the snowflakes chase my cursor. Cool!
Except I can’t get them to fall up.
Yes, I know.
I’m way too easily amused.

Either that or you have too much time on your hands. 😀 I never noticed that myself. I saw that they were moving, but did not connect the two.

I am disqualified from this game because I already know the answers…. 😉 You know what is hard to believe? My dad (light blue sweater at the top– yes, an American) is the same age in that photo as I am now!

Long years ago, Joyelle. I can scarcely believe how long ago.

What a great picture, Susan, and of course, me being late, I read the comments. Yes, I know which one is Harry! LOL Great post, my friend. And the snow flakes …. I noticed too about changing their direction and to be honest … they drive me bonkers. That’s just me though. You in Florida think snow flakes are cool. Me on the other hand, see too many snow flakes. (((HUGS))) Amy

I get that you have had one or two more snowflakes than you actually need or can enjoy. I think that they stop after New Year’s Day, but am not certain. I always forget they are there and then I’m surprised come December.
