Do you think this is relevant to people in this time in history? Would you change the proverb in any way?

This proverb is timeless and from personal experience I would rather have little than nothing at all because it is much harder to increase when I had to start from ground zero.

The professor thinks it’s better to have little, but I can’t tell you why… Maybe you can tell me?

Susan can’t tell the professor why he thinks what he thinks. Susan thinks it is better because people can be suffocated by mountains of stuff.

I think it’s better to have a little then have nothing. For example, butter. A little butter is always more excellent than no butter at all!
